While we are waiting for governments to create systems to tell us where to test, collect benefits and care for ourselves I decided to create something last week as we were being evacuated from Disney World.
🗺ORIGINS:
At 52 years old I remember a time when the LGBT comminity was dependent on each other to help for the fight with HIV/AIDS.
I buried my lover and many friends. In that time the governments were slow to test, support and help. So my community created BBS groups and started testing and treating each other.
The hyper local communities that cured us until help arrived are the genesis for this solution.
✅SOLUTION:
This solutions is low code / no code powered by Airtable and Nextdoor.
The system’s purpose is to connect neighbors who need help with neighbors who have skills, supplies or facilities during quarantine or in event of the health care system being overwhelmed.
